The last Fusion Challenge that featured black and yellow was #2 back in January, and I had a really hard time designing a card for that one. So it was a pleasant surprise this time around to find that the design came much easier to me. I think part of the reason is that I really liked this sketch—as you can see, I followed it pretty exactly. My card is all about patterns: polka dots, stripes, interlocking circles. And contrasts—isn’t the “Elegant Oval” die cut pretty against the yellow paper and the black leaves?
